My notebook and watercolor
    Recently I'm obsessed to Traveler's Notebook. However I brought a handmade cover just like it due to some reasons, since I got it I'm bring it with me everywhere. It's actually dark blue but looks like black as shown in the photo.

I'm so glad that after many years later, I start to write diary again. I also love watercolor, so I paint most of the pictures instead of all words.
I don't force myself to write or draw something everyday, that will make me lose interests, instead I just do it anytime I want. 

Actually these are my first few works with watercolor, I didn't attend any class about drawing and of course I'm not professional about this. But as I first saw watercolor paintings, I just fell in love with it, I like the nature pattern left when it drys, and you don't really have to master it the result still look pretty, at least to me.


 I only like to draw something or somewhere I saw recently, sometimes from a photo online I like. This is the castle in Universal Studio and the beach of Tioman.




 This is from a very old photo I took years ago, I just painted couple days before, it is very small cause I draw the structure by using 0.05 liner.





















After I finish the first insert I brought online, I found out that the one I like is not always has the size for my notebook (11 by 21 cm). So I decide to buy a A5 notebook, and then trim it. The insert I got from Taobao is very pretty, I like the white cover so that I can do anything to make it looks like my style.

For painting, I try to buy watercolor paper from Art Friend, and trim to double the traveler's size, then use string to sew them and the cover together, just like the one I show in the photo.






This Christmas I got a gift of photo printer, it's Selphy CP1200. There're many more things I can memorize in my notebook.

Win 10 Mail and Calendar Cannot Sync

It shows that "we didn't find anything to show here" even after I click sync button. I google and try many solution about this, but none of them works. But luckily when I try to uninstall Mail and Calendar, actually it cannot be uninstalled, I found the 'reset' button in 'Advanced options'. Obviously it said if not working just reset it. Then everything solved! It is good because your account will not be removed after this, just try it when sync is not working.

About Ubuntu on Surface Pro 4

I tried. Here is the thing, my Surface is i5 8G RAM / 256G, and I brought a 64G micro-SD card for extra space. So I try to install Ubuntu on my microSD card, that actually works but not good. I ask for help from my friend to use his flash drive to install Ubuntu on my sd card, but it's not easy to let UEFI recognize it. Somehow I cannot enter GRUB even though I set it to the first place in boot order list, so we use rEFInd to enter GRUB so that I can enter Ubuntu. Luckily I can use Ubuntu now! However it is not over yet. We found that the keyboard cannot work at all, that means I cannot type my password and press enter. 😒 To solve this, we found a kernel, I think it's this . But problems just keep coming out, like screen brightness, this one is easy just add one line to set it to certain value you like in /etc/re.local. Another problem is touch screen is useless, the one cannot fix yet. What's more, the secure boot is disable so every time I start my surface there...
